Operations Changes in 2025.
Kung Pow Marketing is evolving to serve you even better. Starting today, we will begin transitioning all accounts to our performance-based blended service offering. This shift reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional, measurable results and leveraging the full spectrum of our expertise.
What’s Changing
By the start of Q2, all client agreements will be based on this performance-driven model. This is a move away from ad-hoc services, toward an approach that fully integrates the best of what we do. For some of our current agreements, this represents an expansion of services. Many of you are already on performance-based agreements. Some of you might wish to know more. Here’s what’s driving this change:
1. We’ve become excellent at lead-generation advertising strategy in the past year.
2. Our great SEO operation has become leaner in recent months, and allows us to offer a high quality of service for very competitive rates.
3. We’re very good at long-form content creation.
4. The synergistic impact of these services is so great that I am compelled to focus our operations exclusively on this model. This approach ensures that every effort we make works together seamlessly to drive unparalleled results for your business.
Costs: I’m working on specific figures over the coming weeks and following up with all clients individually. Rest assured, if you are not already in a performance-based agreement with Kung Pow, you will like the proposal we are offering. The restructure of our offer is intended to:
- Reduce flat-rate cost bases to your businesses, trimming retainer rates to reflect near-cost-of-delivery.
- Increase our internal incentives to prove marketing results, by enhancing our margins when we drive KPIs (qualified leads generated, in most cases.)
Why This Model?
This shift is about controlling operations, delivering superior results, and leaning into the work we do best. It’s a strategic move to focus entirely on results-driven solutions that allow your business to thrive.
Over the course of 2024, my personal greatest frustration was identifying needs and being unable to flexibly pivot into those needs due to agreement structures. By reducing the flat-rate cost-basis of our services, and tying our profitable potentials to direct business outcomes, I become better able to front-load the difficult, important work which takes the most time. It also increases our accountability for the performance of that difficult work.
What This Means for You
No immediate decisions are required. We’ll retain our current clients on existing ad hoc service models as we work through this transition.
By the start of Q2, all agreements will align with the performance-based model, ensuring a results-driven approach.
Here’s what you can expect:
Lead Generation Marketing + Advertising: At a minimum, all clients will run lead generation strategies on a performance basis.
Content Strategy + SEO: Most clients will enhance their efforts with expanded content strategies, ad funnels, and SEO strategy. Some clients will require this as a basis of their package, but we’ll continue to offer ranges of “aggression” for you to align costs with your business budgets and objectives.
Focused Asset Development: Many clients will further amplify their results with focused asset development, including long-form content, videos, eBooks and audiobooks, or other high quality and differentiating materials.
Ancillary Services: Services like social media content creation, video marketing, and website design will be continue to be offered in support of performance marketing goals—but not as standalone initiatives.
In short, we are shifting all of our work to be results-driven, and let the outcomes speak for themselves. This approach enables us to partner with you in a way that maximizes the value of every initiative.
Looking Ahead
We’re thrilled to bring this to market and confident it will set a new standard for what’s possible. Over the coming weeks, we’ll connect with you to discuss how this transition will apply to your account and ensure a seamless process.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We’re excited to collaborate with you on this next chapter and deliver even greater success together.
